Before there were no ESN whitelists on Verizon..but the Verizon version of the TP was crippled by Verizon..so instead they bought Sprint TP and used it on Verizon...once whitelist came about it became impossible. Then at one point Verizon announced an open CDMA network..which everyone was hoping it ment use any phone again..but in the fine print it said "Open to any pre-approved device" lol...if you are extremely lucky you may be able to add the ESN based on that pre-approved device thing...but I''d give it 0.0001% chance..as for getting on sprint...for sprint its like 100x harder...

Edit: Provisions lets you connect to the towers more efficiently...if the tower does not authenticate you though the point is moot.
