Well 6.5.x has the Start menu and buttons on the bottom, and the task manager on the top right is gone. The 6.5.x builds are also a lot more finger friendly. But it comes at a cost, from what I've noticed the 6.5.x builds seem to be a lot more buggy, and unstable. They also seem a bit slower, which is why I prefer the 6.5 builds.
The 6.5 builds have the windows start button on the top left, have the task manager on the top right, and they seem to be more stable and faster. But they are not as user friendly. I personally have always preferred 6.5 builds, but the 6.5.x seem a lot more popular. The 6.5 build is also the official microsoft build for this device, I believe the 6.5.x builds have actually been ported from another device, but I'm not 100% sure on this.
