For me that is correct. No scripts and no APN changes. For the fresh install I used mackie's lasted all in one (
XANDROID 03.28.10B.zip) and replaced the rootfs.img and the initrd.gz with the newest. On a different card with an existing copy, I just replaced the rootfs.img and verified that the changes in options.smd1 and pap-secretes were not it place. (When rootfs.img is replaced it resets those files) Again it worked without any changes.
