What I have had in the past and asked about as well as this user is:

70 or 60 mb still available according to WM" so why would opera attempting to allocate 30MB be a problem if there is still 60-70MB free? Seems like a problem where the temp cache is filling up and ounce filled it does not flush or overwrite default is 4MB of cache?
not sure but I stopped using 9.7 for main browsing and stick to 10 I still cook 9.7 for occasional use and is my default for when i click on links in e-mails, etc.
