ahh, you should of called them, I upgraded for free...well it was a $2.50 charge..I caled them and said my kb was broken and that I knew it was a problem with these phones so the lady read me off a list of phones I can get to replace them including a refurb tp and a pre, etc..and I flipped out on her and was like why would I want a refurb tp when I bought mine brand new and ur gonna try to get rid of me with a fn pre..i asked to speak to her supervisor 3 times and they wouldnt get on the phone, so finally after the 3rd time that she came back on the phone after me arguing she said gimme ur cc info and well ship u the tp 2..I got it 2 days later now just have to mail back my tp so they can use it for refurb, the kb actually does work off and on..
