No, you can not install this to a HTC HD2 yet (figured I'd save 200+ posts asking). WARNING !!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLASH A PHONE WITH THIS ROM, YOU WILL BRICK IT !!!

EDIT:

Here's Da_G's new thread on WP7 porting tool/Dev.

Don't forget to say thanks if this helped !!!!

Theoretically, we may eventually see TP2 builds right? I know MS put minimum standard requirements for devices to run WP7, but if we have the ROM image shouldn't we be able to get around that for unofficial builds? Also, would it be legal for this to be ported to phones other than those that are released with WP7?

On XDA (or here) too early to say but, I would not rule it out.

From a offical point, never going to happen.

Remember, this is just a rip from a working phone, they can't even find out how to uncompress the files as of right now.

Just give it a little time...

if Da_G gets enough donations for the JTAG unit we could see some serious progress.

Thanks for the link. I'd be willing to send a little encouragement to see this developed further.

yeah I know, I'd love to flash wp7 on my HD2 before it even comes out, reminds me of when we were flashing 6.5 on our diamonds like a year before the official release.
