Larger Finger Keyboard 2.1 Portrait Layouts WVGA
 

I have made a portrait layout that is more finger friendly for Finger Keyboard. Why cramp up the keyboard when there so much space that can be used on these large screens? I like being able to type fast... This is for WVGA as of right now. May do a VGA later. This layout is a bit larger than EZ Input and a lot larger than the original Finger Keyboard layout.
Also test VGA layout in post.... Let me know.
Now with phrases thanks to Artanis for the phrases layout. All I did is re size and adjust to my layout size. Skins are now included. ** To edit phrases txt file directory is...
Program Files\FingerKeyb\Skins\skin-01-text.txt
you can download to PC or i use TotalCommander to edit

Entries look like this

Action txt1 SS:160I don't think so.

Action txt2 SS:160Bye.

"IDTS" is what shows on button.
"I don't think so." is what is typed when pressed.
** becarful not to change "Action txt1 SS:160" that is part of magic.

Just copy to fingerkboard folder and replace the Skins folder in your Finger Keyboard folder.

i have the htc imagio.....and this works great on it.....the keys are alot easier to hit which makes my texting more accurate...expecially when im in a hurry...thank you so much..and thanks for the help with the finger keyboard before...... now if someone could make a black and pink, or white and pink skin for us ladies.....that would be a big BONUS.....

Something is off on the buttons as they all are black on the bottom two rows Reef. If you need to contact me more directly please PM me and I can show you what I mean.

where do you copy these files to? I don't see a finger keyboard folder

Do you have it installed? If you do was it cooked in a ROM are did you use the cab? This will determine where you put these files? If it is not follow the link in my SIG and install the right cab file to the device.

There's little mismatch layout for key ' & z.
I like to use Grey-green layout. But the phrase looks ugly with Grey-Green. Could u please do something about it? Like the background & font color for phrases. TIA

yo reefer, can you make one with no arrows like the one you did for the wqvga? my device have optical dpad, so it feels awkward and a waste to have the arrows.:headbang: thanx!!
