I'm looking for a way to switch my contact list around, instead of showing the last name first, I want the first name then the last name, I have VX6900

If you sync with outlook you can export them into a csv file, import them into a yahoo or gmail account and they will automatically sort by first name alphabetically. Other than that, i believe you'll have to change the way each contact displays in your list one by one. You would have to open each one and go to the "display as" line and change the setting there.

No, I mean my contact list in my phone, when I add a new contact it shows up as last name first

when you add a new contact look for this: "file as" when you first put the name in it will automatically set it as, "Last, First" just change that to "First, Last" and boom. i hated this as well when alltel first imported my contacts. very annoying.
