Unhappy Opera Mini password fields

I recently flashed to Silence Rom(http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=79970) and asked this question in that thread, to no avail, so I beseech the entire community to assist me in this.

After flashing, I installed Opera Mini V8 cab(http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...54&postcount=1), which I have used many times before with other ROM's, but this time, I can not get text into the password fields(like to log in to ppcgeeks...). It has to be some setting or registry entry in this new ROM, but what?

Has nobody had this issue?
