Re: PANDORA for WM is HERE!

So... I made an interesting observation regarding the sound quality... for the last 45min or so, I've been listening to it at work, during my lunch break... Normally, as I move around the building where I work, I get varying degrees of signal strength and quality. It seems the quality of the stream is directly related to this. It seems that Pandora actually checks your connection speed/quality at the beginning of each song and tailors the stream quality based on your connection speed at THAT moment and uses that bit rate for the entire song. This is based on the fact that as I moved around the building, my sound quality changed from song to song. When I stopped in a spot where I got a good bit rate and stayed there for several songs, they all came thru sounding good. Now, there is a distinct possibility that i'm way off base here, but that's how it seemed to me after a bit of observation.

yea, just started using it more than just testing that it works and on my Touch Pro it skips the last 30 secs or so of each song.

what has been the issue for all time now has been that it doesn't seem to support all of our devices so going therew on the phone doesn't work.

the ridiculous part is that the cheap(free) phones from sprint support this but our expensive hightech super phones dont... awful call sprint, awful.

so like i said, the cheap phones from sprint support it, but our highpriced phone don't

yes it is...

and if anyone has gone to the site from your PPC, you'll notice it says your device is not supported... which is lame since we DO have JAVA (which i have installed)!

I just guess its because the cheap phones are easier for sprint to regulate than our ppcs.. i never hacked my sanyo when i had it lol

I can't even get that far. I get to the login screen and enter my information and then just sits there trying to connect but never does.
