Unscramble "Blocked Called ID/Incoming Calls" ?????
 

Is there any program/App out There that can help me unscramble the Blocked "Incoming Calls/Blocked Caller ID" On my Sprint Treo...Theres This Female Stalker "I Hope" Lmao...And They Call @ Odd Hours Of The Night And Just Listen To me (Silent) For Minutes and then hang up...

Can anyone Help??????

Try this. When they call, use your home phone (block your number) to call a friend's number, if you here a ring in the background or a call waiting pause, you have cracked the case. I am guessing it is someone you know.

If the problem persists you can one of two things:

First, see if your cellular carrier can change your number. This is a pain if you use your phone for business and not advisable.

The second option would be to make a police report for harassing phone calls. If you do this you need to start documenting the exact time and date of the calls, which shouldn't be difficult given that they are logged in your phone. The police can get a search warrant for your cellular account which will list every number that has called you. The number certainly isn't blocked from your provider....only from you. Once the calling number is discovered the police will follow it up by finding which provider the target number belongs to, serving a search warrant on that provider and finally getting the subscriber records for the account holder. It's just a matter of talking to people after that. Be advised that if you persue it to that level that you will be committed to prosecution.

Now here's what u can do....log onto ur online account on sprint site (assuming u r on sprint)...and then go thru the call logs... see like in my case...sometimes calls from hidden IDs SOMETIMES show as "unavailable ID" and other times they clearly show the no.

I have tried asking the rep and they say...that's a glitch w/ sprint...that 1/2 the times even if the person uses *67...the ID will show thru and other times it wont.

Definetly worth a try.

WOw..Thanks to all...and the Checking the logg records sounds like a good idea ..But taking it to the level of filing a harassment charge isn't me @ all.. I just want to know who the Lovely New/Old Admire is..lol. Thanks to All and keep the ideas coming...This can be usefull for a lot

Once u find out if it's a SHE or a HE......and if SHE calls again....just utter my no. and say that's ur new no........and if it's a HE..well...."dig the log!"
