Need some help please with an exe file

I have a exe file here contained in this zip folder. This program is a today

screen launcher. My problem is, it's in an exe and I don't sync my phone

with my computer. Iv'e had alot of issues doing that. So I always copy

programs to my storage card and then put them on my phone. Can I get

one of you great software guys out there to convert this to a cab file

please? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks T M Z

Launcher is a Today screen add-on for PocketPC's. It adds an icon bar, much like Windows's Quick Launch bar. You can place as many applications (screen space permitting) to it's list as you wish simply by copying link files into the Launcher folder, and launch the applications with one tap.
  • Launcher - For PocketPC's (Version 1.40)
Please read the included readme files for information on how to change the list of icons, and how to upgrade from a previous version.

Here you go. Here's how I did it. run the installer on your pc, then use the search on your pc to search for .cab It will list all of the . cab files on your pc. I just copied the extracted .cab and rezipped it (attached) I did it for you but it is a good trick to know for future reference. I never installed it but if you run the installer without the PPC connected it throws the .cab into the activesync folder.
You're welcome

No problem. That's what we're here for. I personally like to educate as well as help in the spirit of "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime". Good luck with it, and future apps now that you know the "little trick".

Re: Need some help please with an exe file

Thanks again for all the help. One question for you or anyone else that might know.

There's a program floating around here that has a cab file for a "blank" space that you

can put on the today screen to push apps down to the bottom. Can't think of it for

the life of me. Any ideas? Thanks T M Z

Re: Need some help please with an exe file

Hya TMZ,
You may be able to create your own blank. Not sure how it would work with Launcher 1.40, but it's easy with tdLaunch, a CAB of which is here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...launchv16E.CAB

I used blanks to get shortcut icons located around my mugshot, as seen here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...533#post243533

Liked it so much, I tweaked so as to get more icons squeezed in:
