Yes it would but in Opera 8.65 you can de-select it as the default browser. In the Opera menu.

Re: New PPC Browser : Skyfire - MERGED

Here, i'll post a bit more detail. the download doesn't do any good without the official invite, it is tied to a users phone number.

Actually, it's funny that you said that. All of a sudden (after signing up) I've been getting 'spam' texts. This has NEVER happened to me before. The worst part is that I now get this spam about 3 times a day. I have NEVER used my cell number to sign up for anything, nor have I ever posted my cell number anywhere.

Look, I'm not saying it's definitely the Skyfire people, but it is a little weird, don't you think? I mean, it started the day after I signed up for the beta.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have never gotten any spam sms or mms on my account even after siging up for skyfire. If they sold one they sold all, unless they are being covert

there is even a search this thread option. Mod's should start giving infractions for this blatant disrespect of forum rules.

who else thinks that maybe a class action should be in the works for stealing our information and us not getting anything in return for it. Anybody else second this motion
