Help with IE on Intrepid

Hello All
I would go to YouTube mobile in IE on my intrepid running 6.5, it used to open the video in windows media player, then there was a button, said switch to, can't remember what it was called, and listed it as beta, I clicked on that link to see what it was about, it used the flash player to play the vid, which sucks, I have flash installed, anyway I can't seam to find a way to go back to the other methid of playing it in windows media, you would think they would have a link to switch back once you see that it SUCKS, anyway does any one have any suggestions short of either throwing it away, or doing a hard reset, it's not worth the hard reset to me, but would like it to be the other way.
Thanks in advance.
Terry

Thanks for the reply, but not sure what you mean by new package.
Can you explain?
Thanks again
