Increase Ringer Volume

Increase Ringer Volume:

navigate to: HKCurrentUser\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring\In itvol

change from 3 to 5 (anything over 5 seems to be the same volume)

you need a registry editor like PHM RegEdit to change values in the registry. Once installed open PHM RegEdit and navigate to the directory listed in the post above. Its pretty simple, you just need to experiment a little. Oh, and backup your registry first. There should be an option in the menus of the program to do a backup.

I have tried this hack and it doesn't seem to work out for me. I noticed though, before I did this that I would have the ringer volume all the way up and it was still kind of low but I was able to turn up the ringer volume while it was ringing and only then was it loud enough for me, but it is pointless to turn up the volume while it is ringing. lol. Any reason why it does this?

ah....nevermind I just had to change the ring type from increasing ring to ring......
