I find it quite instant with my Touch HD. See if you can play with G Sensor polling interval, most of the lag is due to sensor polling and not redrawing.

Some of you already probably know this and I just thought I would make that clear for those who don't. You can also just adjust this through the registry directly, however this is probably easier and safer for most users. Touchflo also has some tweaks available to help speed up switching from one tab to another.

For those that want to play in the registry directly, this is where I would go to change the Checking Time for the G Sensor.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCSensor\GSensor\ CheckingTime
Double Click it and change value, then test and see how it responds for you. Mine is currently set at 500 value and seems ok to me.

and heres what you will need to mess with the registry..

Thank you for your help! I tried the registry way but didn't have the sub folder under g sensor so I used the app(great app, first thing I install) and set poll to 100 and now no more lag!

Re: Auto Rotate Lag

set it to 500, 100 will have it poll less often

Re: Auto Rotate Lag

I believe 100 should be faster, as long as it's still stable for you. I believe that's how many milliseconds it waits between polling for activity. Mine is set at 500 currently and I am happy with it that way. However 100 should be snappier and if it works for you, more power to you. Glad I could help out.

Many people can't find their way through the registry that easy. If you wanted to explore it at your own risk I suggest Total Commander or similar registry editor. You would then double tap on the \\Plugins folder, then the registry folder, which will bring you to the familiar reg entries of:

HKCR (Hkey Classes Root)
HKCU (Hkey Current User)
and
HKLM (Hkey Local Machine)
