Registry - Default sms program?

I just found out about the 3rd party sms program sms-chat.. I seen however that people don't like it because it doesn't register as the default sms app. I know in windows xp these are simple reg tweaks you can make, so I'm assuming it's the same on WM? I'm going to grab a reg editor in a bit and give it a shot. (I did search, but didn't see anything relevant with "default sms")

Thanks

Yep, that's the only one I've seen so far. I seen the chat style sms on a mogul yesterday, but I'm thinking that was built in, because it looks different than this app.. But I could be wrong

Yep, Instead of using the built in "messenger" application as the default, I want it to use a 3rd party app. Hopefully it's not hard coded or something. But I need to keep the functionality of messenger for Exchange/Activesync.
