Ie Java Enabling
Hi,
I want to enable java on my TyTn II, isit possible? i tried to in the registry editor, couldnt see anything remotely resemblign of java enablign, so i am turnign to experts. Can anybody help? thanks babu |

There is no "enabling" of Java. If your device didn't come with a Java virtual machine, you will have to download one to install. Google or search here for jeotek or jeobed and you'll find a couple cabs you can install.
Keep in mind this is Java Micro Edition for things like Opera Mini; you won't be running full blown desktop java apps on here, nor will you be able to run websites that have embedded Java applets in them. |

thanks for the reply mate, well i have a HTC TYTN II, do u knowwhether it comes with Java installed, i am runnign opera mini and coupel of other java apllications sucha s Gizmo and Ebuddy. still cant open some sites with video, i get a message plz enale java to run. what should i do?

You will not be able to use pocketIE for that. You will need Opera Mobile or some other Java-enabled Browser.
Honestly... I've found that it's pretty much a device limitation. Besides, I hate seeing Opera Mobile close all other apps just to steal the rest of my titan's program memory and crash a minute later. IE Mobile/Pocket IE won't run java embedded in websites. sorry. Developing a java script to open the java frame, convert and run in FlashLite 2.1 might be your only option, and you could sell it and make a fortune. |
