Problem with Registry EDIT after flashing new Sprint ROM

I have just flashed the new v3.02 Vogue ROM and everything is good; however, I get "access is denied" followed by "cannot write value data" every time I try to edit certain registry values... mainly I've been trying some of the battery tweaks found on the like named thread amongst other little registry tweaks... but every single one I've tried i've gotten this message(s). Any suggestions? do I need to unlock something to be able to edit the reg on this new rom?

I personally use PHM Registery (Regedit) available in this forum http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=17859 and have had no issues. Try downloading that, if you continue to have issues, post the specific key/value and we can help you more.

I use MemMaid it works well. Never had "access is denied".

Ok, I cooked my own rom using the kithen and flashed it after flashing the v3.02 rom and all is well... I can edit the reg. and it seems to be running pretty stable!! Thanks for the replies guys!!!

After downloading, say MemMaid, how do you open the registry to tweek the ppc? i apologize for the obvious nooblet question.
