Sub Folders in My Documents Searched on SD Card
 

Is there a way to get programs like Word and Excel to search subfolders in the My Documents Folder on an SD card when looking for file types to open?

I think they already do this. For items on the SD card, you will see a little red and black icon on the bottom right of the file type icon.

When I open up Word, I do not see any files that are in SUB folders under \My Documents or \Storage Folder\My Documents unless they are actually in the root directory of \My Documents or \Storage Folder\My Documents. I need to see the files in the SUB Folders.

That's odd. My word file are in \Storage Folder\My Documents and they show up. No idea why they aren't showing up. Can you open them up by using the File Explorer?

I guess I am not doing well at communicating....so let me try one last time...

If I put a file in \Storage Card\My Documents I can see it in Word....

If I put a file in \Storage Card\My Documents\subfolder I can not see it in Word

Or Excel for that matter....

Is there a reg edit that I can make so that I can see it in the SUBFOLDER?
