Answer button prob/switching parts

I have a vz6700. 99% of the time when I get an incoming call and hit the answer button the phone immidiately drops the call. Is there a reg tweak that might help?

Also

I have a 6700 from verizon that I stupidly updated using the verizon update. Therefore I cannot install wm6 without downgrading and risk bricking my phone. My buddy has a 6700 that works fine, just has some cracks in it. His phone does not have the vz update installed. I was wondering if it is possible to switch certain selected parts from his phone into mine that would have the older bootloader installed, effectively enabling me to install wm6 on my phone. Some advice would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

What did the verizon update do? I don't see why you wouldn't still have wm6, and why you have to risk bricking it to downgrade. You should just be able to install an older rom and go. What did it install if you don't have wm6?

my 6700 hundread came with wm5 installed. verizon released an update to the bootloader that stops owners from installing wm6. they want u to buy that 6800 that comes with wm6 installled. in order to instakk wm6 i think u have to downgrade to the previous bootloader and i dont know how to do that.

I think there is an option in the kitchen that will let u put it on the new one its like x.03 something like thatbim not a basket of kowledge but his sound work but I would research before trusting me.....also u won't brick by downgrading if u olloelw the right instructions that are somewhere oj the site I know that I saw it somewhere

Thanks. After less than three hours of sleep and then going to work I finally got wm6 up and running. Its pritty sweet. I have one ques. When i had wm5 I could send and recieve pix and flix messages using MMS. I would go to 'messages', there would be three options available from the 'go to' menue, (1) test message, (2) outlook email, (3) MMS. I would use MMS to send and recieve pix /flix messages. I dont have that option any more and I cant send pix/flix messages.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT ON HOT TO GET PIX/MESSAGES ON WM6?
