Remapping of phone button.

Hi,
I have installed the Rhodium keyboard console on my HTC Touch Pro 2 to allow mapping of buttons, however i'm asking if anyone has a solution or know of one to do the following:
I would like to be able to hold the Green call button (Bottom left of phone) for a period of seconds and for that then to call a specific number - like a speed dial.
I have tried settings a speed dial on another key; 2 for arguments sake and then having the hold down action emulate the number 1 button however it doesn't ring.
any pointers much appreciated.
John.
