HTC MTeoR Keyboard Backlight

If somebody calls me in “dark place” it is rather difficult to find green button to answer the call because keyboard light does not automatically switch ON. Is it possible to arrange that MTeoR keyboard backlight is automatically turns ON as soon as incoming call is received?

It seems to me that the same happens not only with MTeoR but with other devices with Windows Mobile 5 as well. Perhaps there could be some general fix for Windows Mobile 5 enabling keyboard auto backlight?

Re: HTC MTeoR Keyboard Backlight

I also think it should be possible. I do not presently have my Treo 750 with me. However as far as I remember it operates on Windows Mobile 6 and has no any problems to turn the keyboard backlight ON when telephone calls are received. Perhaps somebody could compare Windows Mobile 5 & Windows Mobile 6 settings and see where that "auto" feature is stored in Windows Mobile 6 and wheter it is possible to arrange the same in Windows Mobile 5?

Re: HTC MTeoR Keyboard Backlight

Some update... I also have Cingular 2125, I checked it and Cingular 2125 does not have a problem to automatically turn its keyboard light ON when a call is received. So, it now seems to me that that issue is not common for WM 5 - it is specific for HTC MTeoR only. Any idea what / where the difference is and whether is is possible to adjust it?
