QA Form

Hello all!

I've been using the .10 rom since last night, and have begun testing every feature I can think of. Has a QA form been developed for us to track items tested?

Thanks,
Paul

I think you need to develope one Here's a start (use MSWord?)

**EDIT** the board butchers extra spaces. unless you use code...
Code:
Example:

Username ComputerCarl
Date 03/12/07
Kitchen Version 1.0.0.10
Carrier VZW

program name icon works y/n/other
-------------------------------------------------------
Internet Exploder yes no, favorites button goes to wrong place
MSN yes yes
etc.etc.etc

List any OEMS you added:
Program name icon startup on the ftp? other
MMS 3.0.16.16 no no yes had to edit rgu
Gems2 yes no no personal oem

List any programs you installed
Program name Works y/n/other
PhoneAlarm 1.58 yes

What else do we want to monitor? Do we want to have QAs install SPB benchmark and benchmark it as we go? Do we

(BTW, I know the IE favs were fix, it was for illustration purposes.) (and sure if you really want gems2, let me know.)

Well, I have a Bugzilla installation that I'd like to pass by Glossman before having everybody else start dumping bugs into it. At least that way, we could keep track of it in a more-or-less organized fashion.

Sogarth,
I should be around this evening to g oover the Bugzilla implementation.

Until then, this is the QA form that I've developed.

Please start a thread for each bug using the form below as a template until further notice:

Reported by: (Name of tester)
Date: (Date issue was found)
Time: (Time of DR filing)
Version #: (Indicate the ROM version # that you were testing)

Issue Description: (Describe the issue you observed in very fine detail.)

Steps to duplicate: (Indicate what you were doing when the issue occurred and how to duplicate. Be sure to note any settings or functions you were using (Bluetooth or WiFi on, etc.)

Software installed on PPC: (List ALL software you have on your pocket pc that was NOT installed by the ROM, i.e., any added programs.

If you are still looking for QA

I have the RC1 rom loaded. Everything works great except for the bluetooth bug that has been mentioned a couple of times. I can consistantly reproduce the BT going to sleep and not waking up.
