i had a poll on this recently, most people chose IM+ and Palringo. I personally use palringo. It has a nice UI, low power consumption and I like it has a today plugin to activate the program and to show new messages.

Ahh, if i knew how to develop for WM, I would write me own IM client...and it would be a thing of beauty....have a nice home plugin, not have disconnect issues, organize my buddy list in a way the makes sense, not require me to use the stylus to touch tiny places on the screen just to do simple things while im driving... and allow me to customize to my will. SMACK!.. Oh for a second I was dreaming that OZ Messenger worked on my 6700...too bad

not only that, but there are a couple of things that make slick better than palringo, and that's...

1. you can have any amount of IM windows from any client open.

2. you can send other kind of files besides pics, like any size videos... (i even send the large porno videos i have on my card... lol)
