Some may be interested in this source for real-time images of the sun. If you want to keep your eye on sun spots and solar flares - this is for you! :shock:

The images are provided by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory. The images are here, and an explanation of what they are can be found here.

Simply paste the following into your radars.txt file (found in your WeatherPanel installation folder):

storyr,i don't have my pc, I also don't have any radars set in wp. can I install radars w/o pc plus this sun gizmo. in wp, I have no radars text file.

The radars.txt file will be found in your install folder, such as \Program Files\MarsWare\WeatherPanel or \Internal Storage\Program Files\MarsWare\WeatherPanel (trust me, you have one).

You don't need your PC - you can do it from your device. From the 1st post, copy the image text/urls, open the radars.txt file (with pword, for example) and paste at the top (or bottom), then save it.

Now, go into WeatherPanel settings, edit a city, choose Weather Images, and select the items you just added from the drop down...

in wp i have, data icons themes gif decoder logo and radars. am i missing somerhing?

Sorry - it's radars. If you're using WM File Explorer (or any explorer that turns file extensions off), you won't see the .txt extension.

not sure where that leaves me, just use directions from above still or?

i got the radar image going now. on some of your threads you have a traffic image, can i also do that with no pc? last question i swear. Lol

you can use any image you find. Just find the image on the web, right click it check properties and you will find the image to paste into radars.txt
