excuse my dumb question , how can i use the wallpapers i see here . i just got a htc pro 2 with a JUICY RHODIUM_W R2 WITH HTC SENSE. Im sorry this is all new to me and was wondering how i can load all the wallpapers . I have a 2gb memory card and reader but im not to sure how to use .

Just unzip the Wallpaper packages to a file on your PC. Then select which images you want to have as wallpaper choices on your device. Then put them in a folder on your device or in a folder on your device's storage card.

You can then browse the images through the phones wallpaper settings on the Settings tab in TouchFlo3D, and select the wallpaper image you want to apply.

excuse my dumb question im new here after loading files to a folder in my pc and after being connected in activesync then do i place this folder in my memory card ?????? or in a specific folder in the phone ? please anyone

I have a few questions:

1) If I use one of your wallpapers, what happens when I switch to landscape mode?

2) Does the weather animation work on these? If not, is there a way to get them to work?

It will crop it appropriately for landscape when rotated. Having the weather animation work with these, there is 2 options. It really depends on the rom you are running, which option to use.

If you are running WM6.5 with Sense 2.1, you can use this:
[X] Apristel BG4ALL - Animated weather home tab - Download
(Background for all tabs. Keeps animations no matter what background you use.)

I hope this is a good place for this question, I just got my TP2 today, I've had a TP for a few months an uped for the TP2. Anyways, I am trying to added different backgrouds to my TP2. I do not use TF3D, I use the standerd windows mobile interface. With my old TP I would open the background as a picture, go to the menu an select add as background, then it would give me an option of how much transparency I want, I would pick 0% an my background would be applyed with no problems. With my TP2 I do not seem to have that option. My backgrounds are added wtih a whiteish film over top.

My question is, what is the easiest way for me to apply different backgrounds wtih out the whiteish faded out look to them?

Go to> Settings>Today> Use the selected image as background> Browse images, select one, set transparency, done.

Let me know if you need more info then that. But that should get you going!


Also, if you browse the images through, "Pictures and Video", instead of "Album", you can select set as today background from there. But I don't think it gives the transparency option that way. Once you set transparency to 0%, I think it stays that way, and then you can use the second method I mentioned.

thankyou for the reply santod, when I do it that way after I hit Browes an select the pic I want for my background it does not give me the option to set the transparency. But I found a way to do it, with my TP it used the program Pictures & Videos to open my pic files, with my TP2 it uses the Album to open them. I can go into the programs menu an select Pictures & Videos, then direct it to the folder for my backgrounds, open the background, to go Menu, Set as Today Background, then it gives me the option to set Transparency Level.

I guess it was one of them things that I'd never have found unless I made a post on it, thanks again for the reply.

No problem, glad you got it.

The way you said worked, was my second suggestion, couldn't remember which way actually gave the transparency option. Haven't run stock for a bit now.

I'm glad that people are finding these useful. I think it's great that this gives others a nice pallet to work with when making new HDwalls and themes. Keep up the great work everyone. As long as they continue to be appreciated and used, I'll keep adding them.:)

just an FYI..... there are images within the image packs that are cropped incorrectly. Most of the car pics are not really usable.

How so? They are all the proper resolution for our device. If there is writing on some, they may have had the writing cut off some, for the main part of the picture to show. In my opinion, there are plenty of great car shots in there, that are cropped quite well. Feel free to edit any of them as you wish.

I'm surprised that so many other users have downloaded and loved these, yet you say, many are unusable. I'm sorry you feel that way and I completely disagree. Feel free to delete them from your PC, I don't mind.

I am well aware of the images I included. Maybe it's just me, but those are pretty sweet pictures! If you don't like them, don't use them. There are all types of images included. I can't please everyone, I guess. And not every image is gonna be perfect, they are provided to you for FREE! Thanks for the appreciation as well! As I may not have "MADE" every image in these packs, although, many I HAVE made. Of the ones I didn't make, many required, yes "cropping", resizing, or editing. I also use Photoshop, along with a large handful of other applications. I have spent many hours collecting, sizing, cropping, editing, packaging, and uploading these and it's nice when it is taken for what it is. One of my small donations to this great community.

I realize that not every image is perfect, but not everyone has the same taste in pictures, as with everything else. Therefor, I included all types, including ones that I don't particularly care for either, but they looked good enough that I thought someone else may like them, so I keep them in there. :)

All your pictures are great and funny, Thank you for taking your time to make it happend and dont pay attention to the haters in here trying to judge you on a couple of pics that are bad............... no one is perfect . I love all the pics now i can sit for hours picking a pic for every other day .
