3/3/10 Navizon 3.6.0.3 works on CDMA TP2 without Cell Tower Location

Edit: New version 3.6.0.3 released

Newest version 3.6.0.1 is attached. The sync should function great on this version. A power saving mode was updated in 3.6.0.1. As always if you want to sign up use the link in my signature.

Also if you want to look into a logging program with no need to start it look at navimote below. PM or email me with any questions.

Re: Navizon

Looking at the site, not seeing much difference between this and google maps with latitude (except if you want to use all Navizon features you have to pay)

Re: Navizon

The good news is I've had no freeze ups. The bad news is that I'll often get an error message saying my TP2 can't connect to the network. Sometimes the message only pops up once or twice, then everything is fine. Sometimes it keeps popping up and I can't connect. Sometimes it kills my data connection altogether and I need to soft reset my phone.

This has only happened with later versions though. I'm running v.3.5.1.2 with no problems. This has always been the best version I used on my Titan.

Re: Navizon

I now have a TP2. I am running 3.5.2.6 with no problems. So far it is great. I was able to log a lot yesterday in an area that crashes my slow mogul.
Also if anyone is interested I have another program that only uses the Navizon API. It also displays your speed and direction. It is called cameraware. I have always used cameraware buddy but the actual main program runs navizon which is nice. If you turn off all the cameras like I do it runs pretty fast.

As always if you want to signup use the link in my signature. I am now going to be back to earning money since I have a phone that doesn't crash.

How much money can you make? It must be pennies.

Re: Navizon

I have made almost $200 since january and that was not with a good device like the TP2. On the first logging yesterday it did amazing. If you live in a metro area you can earn a decent amount. I am in more of a smaller town.

Re: Navizon

Hmm... And you can still use your phone while you run this? Do you just download the software from their generic site or is it something special?

And they just send you a check?

Seems too good to be true.

Re: Navizon

Trust me it is real. Me and many others here can verify they do send the money. They send you money by paypal. You collect 10000 point you get 10 minus like 13cents of paypal charges. You can redeem one reward on the free version. I suggest you use the first 10000 as a $10 reward so you can see they really do give you money. Then use the second 10000 points to buy the premium version. You then can redeem as many rewards as you like.
Attached is the version I use. Sign up using the link in my signature. After signing up you can refer others and get 20% of their points. It doesn't take away points from them it just gives a portion of there earnings.
Yes the program does use a lot of battery since the wifi is on but I just have it plugged in while I drive around. Let me know if you have any questions. Remember it costs you nothing to try and you can redeem the first reward.

Re: Navizon

Sweet deal. I'll give it a shot. Yea I did some reading on the Paypal thing, I like that method.

Are there any subscription charges when you buy the premium version? I don't travel a lot, so my points won't rack up quick enough to pay off subscription costs

Thanks for the cab though, I'll be trying that out right now.
