this is a video converter called mp4forhp. it's specifically made for htc mobile devices, and hands down the best video converter i ever used for a phone. i convert 1080p mkv file, and i'm able to choose what language, eliminate subtitles, and produce a high quality video/audio in a good size file. this, combine with htc album makes the perfect combination. htc album is the best video player for your tp2 (yes, better than coreplayer) because it actually utilizes hardware acceleration. full screen (no top, and bottom black bars), smooth playback, and no skipping at all.... try it out

Hey thanks for this prog. Its pretty easy to use...converted videos play well on the HTC player. Still cant get videos to play good on core-player tho.

I'm converting to x264 with mp4 container...basically the default from this program.

So I downloaded the converter and loaded the file on my Touch pro 2. Now how do I open the file in the HTC album?

slide over to photos and videos/album/albums/storage card, or if you have resco file explorer you can go directly to the file, and open it from there.

if that works for you that's cool, but there's no way i'm going to drag n drop a 4 to 7 gb 1080p mkv movie.

But it will only show up if it is a .MP4 file and not a WMA?
