Top bar , bottom bar colors

I'm tyring to have the taskbar one color and the bottom bar(i guess the softkey bar?)another color. Anyone know how to do that? I've done it on accident by changing today themes but havent done it since.

Yeah, they can be changed by going to settings>today and selecting one of the winmo themes. They are separate from tf3d2 themes and change the underlying winmo stuff. you can also download more themes by going to microsoft.com and searching for "windows mobile theme".

when i change themes both the top and bottom bars are affected, using the same color. i want two different colors like below. this was my today screen, top and bottom bar are different. i no longer have it like this but still would like the ability to change the colors.

Re: Top bar , bottom bar colors

Does anyone know of a transparent taskbar and softkey bar? I've seen them on some screenshots of WM 6.5. Are these transparent bars exclusive to WM 6.5 only?

The transparent top and bottom bars are exclusive to WM6.5.
Here is a program made by microsoft to make themes, you choose the colors for the top and bottom bars, background, etc..

Re: Top bar , bottom bar colors

Will that program override everything that was on the ROM before? I would also like to also see a transparent softkey bar as well.

Re: Top bar , bottom bar colors

I tried the microsoft theme generator, but I couldn't install it on windows7 64bit. Does anybody have some different basehue in a theme? I am not sure why there isn't much interest/demand in this. People tweak every small little thing and this color is always visible. I would have thought there would be tons of options for this. When searching, it looked like there was a popular app for wm5 though. Right now all we have is black, grey, green, and blue (yeah I saw the orange, yellow, purple, & pink on microsoft's site but those are awful). Anybody able to play with that theme generator? With manila, the only thing a theme needs is a different basehue of the top & bottom bars.
