is there a way to upgrade 2.1 to 2.5
 

i have sense 2.1 but would like sense 2.5 with the home screen short cuts. also. ive notice that the weather on my tp2 isn't like the weather on the hd2 in the way the weather isnt completely in the background. its localized to a very small area in the middle of the screen. does this have anything to do with the fact that im running 2.1?

yes but since your are on tmoible you have to unlock your device here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=80265 and then flash any rom from the gsm section that is sense 2.5 and there are lots to chose from i like energy and mighty but all the chefs here r awesome so u pick whatever appeals to u most. i believe tmobile is gsm right....?

Yes, T-Mobile is GSM and the unlocker you linked him to is for CDMA.
