Manila 2.5 users: anyone notice???

Anyone else notice since 2.5 is out and we can have nice large icons, that the icons do not have matching backgrounds? I just noticed it tonight... Maybe I'm just slow to the game, but it'd be nice for em to all follow a standard on icon backgrounds.

Just a thought.

There is a cab to remove the background, you can search it in the forum.

That removes the boxes, these are part of the icon files which covers the boxes that cab removes (already investigated).

thats SANTOD'S stealth launcher links but he made a update dealing with your issue as well on 1-7-10.......

Added "Remove Quick Link Background.cab
This will remove the box behind the Quick Links that appears when they are selected! As shown in this picture.
This is a nice addition to the Stealth Launcher Links!

it's been updated to the 1st post of his thread and works great,you can see the difference in the 1st and 3rd pix ,removes the box background only leaving the icon,you should check it out
