Question How To Disable Light Sensor Or Proximity Sensor???

Does anyone know how to disable the light sensor or maybe the proximity sensor?

I use a screen locking program that locks the screen when it turns off.

So if I'm not using my earpiece while on a call where I have to press 1 for this or 2 for that etc, my screen goes off every time I put it to my ear and I have to unlock it between every key press.

And no I don't want to change the locking program to remain unlocked during calls because I usually have my phone in my pocket while talking... hmm but I think it does have the option to stay unlocked during calls while bluetooth is not connected, but that isn't the point. When I lock my screen I like for it to stay locked forever or until I manually unlock it. And when it is unlocked I like for it to stay unlocked forever or until I lock it manually. And this auto screen off/on is too annoying for me.

I would rather just disable these features altogether...

Re: How To Disable Light Sensor???

Actually - this may not be the light sensor - maybe it is the proximity sensor - either way - I do not want it to turn my screen on and off

Re: How To Disable Light Sensor Or Proximity Sensor???

I'm having the opposite issue- I cant get mine TO turn the screen off. Does anyone know the correct registry settings for the prox sensor so I can check mine?
