Re: Just looking for opinions on some of the new roms out

In terms of pre-cooked, I havent seen a decent one since the 23017 days. If you really want a good one... and trust me, I have tried all these that people are talking about here... the none of those are the answer. The answer is to grab the calc kitchen and build only WHAT YOU NEED and I would strongly suggest you do it based off of the 21876 build if you want stability, speed, and no headaches. Might I also suggest loading latest stock first as well. I actually got caught in a rut where all the roms were sucking but put the stock build on and then re-tried them all. Calc kitchen is the way to go. Early signs though are that he isnt going to continue doing work on the TP... no worries though, none of the OS versions POST 21876 are any good IMO.

Re: Just looking for opinions on some of the new roms out

I personally love build 28011
That is what all my current roms are built on.
Fast, stable and good on battery life.

Sure not all roms will fit everyones needs.
Look for a rom that has good feedback and that has the features you want.
There are some good chefs around that cook great roms.

My roms have working SMS/MMS for all carriers right out of the box.
That seems to be a big issue right now with some roms.

Also if you want Sense 2.1 with FULL weather on the home tab like posted, mine has that too.

Re: Just looking for opinions on some of the new roms out

I have re-ROMed my phone literally 25 to 30 times trying all of the different version, modifications, and skills of all the chef's. I definitely take my hat off to all of them. But I have liked NRGZ ROM's the best, and I am currently on the ROM listed in my signature. I have had it for 2 days now and have not run into a snafu yet. I like the lay out, the ease of use, and the look.

Re: Just looking for opinions on some of the new roms out

I tested'em all out as well and I stuck with RaidZero's 23518 Sense 2.5 ROM... Runs great for me w/ no errors or shutdowns, an battery life is 2x better than stock... Also accepts add-ons with ease...

NFSF's Roms HANDS DOWN. Currently i would use build 1.03b over 1.4, but 1.5 is ETA- SOON (NFSF posted today)
