Animated Background -Touch Pro
 

Currently using:

HTC Touch Pro
Verizon (unlocked Security)
Rhodium Manilla-Gen.YManillav2.1 VGA CFCR1.5 (from sskusers.net)

Wanting to be able to use .gif files as background/wallpaper in Touch Flo 3-D. Anybody have suggestions? Please help. Thank you kindly.

You can't use an animated .gif as your background. The best you can do is flash a rom with vga ported sense 2.5. There are 3 animated wallpapers included with it (all done with manila files/code). People are replacing the images with cfcgui and making their own (ie snow flakes falling with a snowy background). It is limited though as they are just using the same falling animation as the original htc animated wallpaper.

his is where i found out about it,it works on most 2.5 roms,on tp i used to follow your s2u2 stuff,so u gotta keep me posted if you get this going :) love your work!!!

Bottom 3 mods in this post at xda. I'm sure you'll find the manila files inside the cabs or packages posted. They all use the falling circle one, so things just fall from top right.

I don't know how to do it, but these are the one's i've found so far. You may want to pm one of the authors at xda for any help.
