Modifcation of Start Menu and Contacts Soft Keys
 

So I have to say, I really don't like where the start menu button is on this. I really would like to replace that area with two soft keys, "Phone" and "Camera" since both of those hard keys on my phone are very temperamental.

So really, what I would like to do is remove the Start Menu, Contacts, and Set all together, and just have the slight overlay and the words "Phone" and "Camera".

Is there a way to do this without changing ROMS? I would rather not. Advise would be appreciated. :)

Is this because of modification you guys did, or modifications that were done to the ROM I'm using?

Those are different versions of WM 6.5. The top is 6.5.1 and the bottom is 6.5
