Titan Radio ROM 3.42.30 - Newest Flavor

Found this posted by gc14 over at XDA. -- LINK. --
The new Vogue rom, ported to the Titan.. slightly higher rev number than the official Sprint titan Radio 3.42.02 from earlier.

Just flashed it via SD no problems. didn't even have to hard reset. everything still intact and working great. noticing a bit quicker speeds on the RevA. (but could be placebo).. GPS and signal strength seem status quo.. only been using is for 20 minutes or so.. Verizon user. and did NOT have to call for a new aKey..

Tried this on VZW xv6800 with together no2chem 5067 ROM. THe phone freezes on making phone calls. Flashed back to the 3.42.02 and everything work normal again. GPS locking on the 3.42.30 remains the same as it was in 3.42.02.

Any other positives to this radio besides "faster" GPS locking yet? I had major problems with past ROMs and I suspected the radio. Not getting texts, VMs, etc... Everything is working well right now for me. If it ain't broke, don't fix it sorta mentality for me right now unless something significant comes up with the Vogue radio.

I can't say that i really notice anything over and above the 3.35 that i had before.. everything is working just as nicely as it ever did..
i ran through my normal list of checks and verifications that i do whenever i flash a new rom (features/functions), and everything is working.. nothing is broken... what was especially nice was the fact i didn't even need to hard reset..
what did this radio gain me ? i honestly don't know ! but it now says 3.42.30 on my splash screen.......

I have the 3.42.30 radio also and have noticed some better signal strength when I am in my home. GPS does not seem to be changed, either better or worse. I guess we will need to wait for VZW to put out a supported ROM for GPS.

Re: Titan Radio ROM 3.42.30 - Newest Flavor

My experience on Sprint with radio 3.42.30 has been fine, locks on GPS within 7 seconds on both google maps and windows live search, instant radio lock on post boot, signal strength similar to 3.42.02. All good for me on the new radio.

Re: Titan Radio ROM 3.42.30 - Newest Flavor

Thought I'd chime in. Perhaps better signal with .30 in somewhat of a weak signal area. Often connections sound like they are under water here. This radio seems a bit better than .02, but no Titan has equaled the performance of my 6700 with 1.43. (1.41 was a bit weak.) Maybe that little antenna did some good?
