Mogul Battery

As a previous owner of a ppc6700, I continue to be amazed by the Mogul's much longer battery life. Is this the experience of other ppc6700 users? I also have a Touch and the Mogul's battery life seems noticably longer.

Re: Mogul Battery

the 6700 and 6800 were pretty much the same in my experience. The Touch, i have noticed, does run out a little faster than my mogul did but nothing i couldnt handle.

Re: Mogul Battery

Maybe I've been handling my settings differently also my recollection is probably colored by ppc6700 batteries near the end of their life.

Re: Mogul Battery

I agree that the 6700 and 6800 have been pretty similar in battery life with equal usage. However, I can't really compare them now since the Mogul is on EVDO and I surf so much more than I used to. Also, I'm using IM programs that drain my battery so much quicker. I just broke down and ordered an extended battery on eBay (2800mah with door) last night.

Re: Mogul Battery

lol, I love the massive differences in opinions about battery life on this phone. I personally find it to be some of the worst battery life I've had on a phone. I'd be at 20% by 5PM, and that was on a non call-heavy day. I had the get the extended battery to make it decent. I'm back on the OEM battery and hating every minute of it. Meanwhile there are people who genuinely rave about the excellent battery life and not having to charge it for a couple of days at a time. I wish I knew the difference.
