That is so awesome!! Nice job! I am convinced that any that need help with their locked GPS the toolset will do the trick. I have used it on no less than five locked Titans with success every time. Thanks for posting!

Tinkerbell, I've got your rom on my xv6800 and it's awesome. But I'd like to get rid of the white box menu on the dialer, and go back to the stock wm 6.1 dialer (that had a light blue pop-up box, instead of the permanent white box. Is there a way to to do this through the registry? Thanks!

Hi Max! Yes, I can look into that for you. It has been a while since I have worked on this Rom, so let me dig it out here. I closed the other Titan thread because this one is the most recent. So, if I understand you, you want the light blue background?

Hi Tinkerbell - I noticed that you had an HTC Home plugin in this ROM. Do you know where I could get a copy of the last revision with the working weather-fetching tab?

p.s. Also, if you are on Verizon, (and have had the device activated recently) did you have any problems with the data connection lately? I noticed a few weeks ago when I needed to use the device for a few days that the phone feature worked fine, but the data connection could not be established, even after a soft reset.

I believe the HTC Home included in the Rom was the latest available, and working at last check. It is not for you? As to the data, yes, at last check it was functioning. It is difficult for me to check here as swaping from a 3G to a 4G device and back is challenging with the 4G SIM. What data error did you get? Thanks!!

The mogul/xv6800 is still my preferred phone, so thank you very much for keeping it alive! I have to switch from sprint to vzw due to relocation(roaming) so now I have to gather up files/info/stock roms for the xv6800 I just picked up on ebay. It currently has mr2, but I already unlocked and flashed radio 3.42.40 and still no gps (which I am sure will be fine once a different rom is on it). I would like to flash your vzw rom, but before I do, I need to obtain the stock and/or mr1 verizon roms for it just in case I have to go backwards/repair. I am not having any luck finding working downloads for them so I am hoping that you (or anyone else) might happen to have a way for me to download them.

Thank you so very much for the link and your help! You are a (Titan) lifesaver! I was able to download and go through all the steps just fine.

Funny, but maybe helpful true story: Having not done this on a vzw phone before I made a silly goof after using the toolset exactly as instructed. I did not get the gps to actually work while I tried two of your roms and dcd 3.2.6 as well as radios 3.42.50 & 3.42.40 before I realized I had not changed the location setting to location on instead of 911 in the phone settings menu. I should have remembered this from 2008/2009 when I was fluent in all of this on my mogul, yet once I got everything working, I never had to mess with it since then. I was getting frustrated still not having gps after a full day of messing with it, when I finally remembered what the little compass rose with the diagonal line through it meant on the phone dialer. Now my visualgpsce shows satellite signals similar to this:

BTW, your rom in the toolset appears to be an earlier version than the one on the first page. The splash screens make for excellent eye candy and 6.5.5 seems to be a very interesting rom, but I was having keyboard multi stroke issues with both versions I tried. I went back to the simple old trusty dcd 3.2.6 I have used for over 5 years with no keyboard issues. However, I kept the splash screens and your bing/opera/spb accessory pack for the best of both worlds. This allows me to do everything to meet my rather basic needs of speedy relatively bug-free phone, fast internet, working gps for google/bing maps and basic texting, with the bonus of good looking boot screens.

Thanks again and let me know if there is anything file wise that you others need for these phones. I still have quite a collection of stuff I have gathered for the titan over the years... roms, radios, bootloaders and plenty of utilities.

Hey AZTim! Thank you for letting us know. I am glad that you got it working! Nice effort! I probably should put that in the tutorial about the location settings! Interesting about the keystroke issues, I have never heard of anyone having that trouble with this Rom. At any rate, as long as you have something that you are happy with, that is the main thing. Enjoy yourself out there!
