Does 4G still exist?

I live in Bensalem, right outside of Philly, but I work in downtown Philly. I just realized that my Epic cannot find 4g, ever. Was regular 4g canceled or something? I'm baffled here, what's going on? The map says I should be covered.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-us; SPH-D710 Build/IMM76I) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

It is still out there, but there will be no new towers added in the future. Your Wimax tower might be down. Suddenly my 4G speeds have gone to crap at home, and the tower that was a mile away does not show up on sprints maps anymore.

Had Sprint lost some of their leased towers?

I just see my 4G label on my phone like a putting a turbo sticker on my Honda Accord.
Not really functional here in San Diego area.

I have never really ever had 4G coverage.
