Phone help
 

I have a samsung epic 4g on sprint. approximately 8 days ago I notice I was roaming in areas where I never roamed before so I chalked it up to a one time event . Well ever since then I have been roaming more than not....I work about 30 mines from home at home it is intermittent between normal and roaming. At work it is non stop roaming with periods of no data service at all, no phone at all or both.. My wife called a few days ago 4 time and went right to v/m.
I call sprint and the do the routine..power off remove bat for 2 min. and power back up which sometimes works for a limited time period but then back to the recent norm ..nothing...they tell me a tower is down and s/b up first 7/30 now 8/3.. Is this normal practice Ihave never experienced.. i know the are taking down some towers for conversion from nextel but should this be??? IS there any tests I can do??? or are they just f`ing with me.

Yeah the network its a mess right now. I seem to see weak signals on the weekends. Does that make any sense?

I've noticed a lot more roaming spots well. Plus, about one day a month the signal in my office goes to complete shit and I can't make a call or connect at all (this past month every text message that I received within a certain time frame kept coming through again every 9 minutes....this went on ALL day). I chocked it up to Sprint rather than the phone.

sprints network is just the worst. I live in a very affluent part of NH and I miss calls more than I get them, miss txt all the time, can't send txt, blahblahblah.

I wish verizon would take up my contract as it is with sprint so I have unlimited everything. I've been with sprint since 1999. the past almost 2 years the network has blown. I love when I'm Roaming cause that is verizon's network which seems pretty awesome.

I gotta say this is the worst I have ever seen, I switched to nextel in 2001 after spending a week at Ground Zero and it was the only thing that worked and I made the switch and happy ever since. As I live in NJ 50 minutes out on NYC I would think I could get decent service and until recently did, friends with Verizon and other carriers would have to go out to my driveway (live in mountainous area)to get service but I would be sitting in comfy chair with beer and service...now got shit.
