Hard Reset

I was wondering about hard resetting my phone.

"From the main home screen, tap menu
Tap Settings, then Privacy
Tap Factory data reset
Tap Reset phone
Enter your password, then tap Yes to confirm"

If i do that, will it go back to 2.1 or will i be at 2.2 like i am currently?

Thanks!

Factory reset just cleans up the user data, settings and apps.

np, just a reminder that if your using a custom rom, some apps that came with the rom are flashed as user apps and not system apps. so factory resetting will remove those user apps.

Can you kill the other info in your phone such as activation information, phone numbers, MSID and email address etc?

If I were to sell my phone or return it, how do you purge the "me" out of it?

TIA
