You should be getting closer to a full day. That said, if you are in a dead zone where the phone searching for service then that will cause your battery to drain quickly.

Yes you should be getting way better than that...currently I am running stock with ext4 and root only...51% and 17 hours and counting.....

This is with wifi on almost the whole time...which does help considerable...grab spare parts and set it to never sleep....I do on every rom I use...
