Wifi Tether in Infrastructure (Access Point) on Samsung Epic
Does anyone know if the Epic can tether in infrastructure mode yet? It was nice when we got this working for the EVO. I have rooted my Epic and installed Android Tether 2.05 pre6, 7, 8, & 9. On the Epic they all work only in adhoc mode. And they all have WEP instead of WPA security.

Evo got Infer-structure Tethering from Android 2.2 I think..we have 2.1...but you are in luck..

Okay, I just looked and I have DI07...now last question will any of this wipe my device? Will I have to reload all my programs?

you need one click clockwork mod then backup using it but i didnt loose anything using app. gten is speaking of.

Well I'm down to the last step which is flashing the app, but the download link: signed-FINAL-mobileap.epic-SPH-D700USDI07.zip is not workig! grrrr! Does anyone have this file they can share someplace other than MediaFire?

Also I would suggest using Titanium to backup Sprint Hotspot then use Titanium to uninstall Sprint Hotspot from the system.

Anyways attaching it..
