Not 4 programs..4 drivers....rooting require 3/4 to work..but flashing clockworkmod seems to require all 4 :/

when you plug in your phone on the bottom right it tells you which drivers your pc is installing looks like a computer circling.

Its not that hard..just gotta know what to look for

Re: Epic 4G Wiki - All Most Common Questions and Answers + Tips + Guides + 1-Click Ro

I have a couple of questions.
1. Do I have to root my phone to remove the sprint .apks? or does method 2 work without rooting.
2. If I don't have to root, would a reset reload the .apks or does a reset just reset the user data and not reload the rom?

The ADB method "might" work without rooting...cant say for sure though...

Reseting will not return the apks..hence its best to root anyways so you can make backups and stuff.

There is really not much harm in rooting :/

It's a company phone so I can't root it because it will void the warranty. I know that I can unroot it back, but I don't want to have to worry about something happening to my phone if I root it. Otherwise this thing would have barely been on before it was rooted!

Sprint. Personally I think that it should be illegal to void the warranty by customizing your phone seeing as how its your phone that you bought, but that isn't my call to make.
