Re: so far epic gps sucks.

this is kinda hear and there but I had to call sprint to setup wifes evo cause she was coming from nextel blackberry. Anyway in idle conversation with the lady it came up that she wanted the Epic also and I told her I love it so far for having it for 2 days. Easy to use, fast, 4g is excellent when its there blah blah blah but I mentioned having seen here the GPS issues. She said hold on let me see if there are any reports of GPS issues with the Epic. Heard some typing and then she said that no no issues have been reported or at least not enough to cause a problem ticket. So maybe we should start calling sprint and complaining when our gps says its accurate within 2600meters (mine did that the other day and i had to laugh). Its more than likely not a sprint issue but something in the samsung hardware or code that is causing it. I know my Touch Pro was deadly accurate 100% of the time.

Do you have "Use Wireless networks" on in "Locations & Security"?
