Hi,

I am pretty experieinced doing this and I think the file you uploaded to HOTFILES is corrupt.

I downloaded it twice, followed the instructions to a T and when ODIN went to access the tar file it gives a funny character then "7z" then aborts (like "~7z").

Tried your DropBox but I guess that's not ready yet.. can you please help as I'm very excited to try this out.

Thanks!

Chris R.

Did you right click the zip and extract it to a folder and enter the password??
I had no problems with it. I use WinRar for zip files.
Dropbox link should be done shortly....

Yeah, like I said, I've been loading Android ROMs for some time now (back when the first T-Mobile G1 ROM was introduced). I'm downloading from your DropBox site now to see if that file passes through Odin properly. will report out shortly.

Thanks!

Chris R.

Hi!

I figured out the problem - you may wish to rewrite your directions: you need to extract twice. the firlst set of files includes the 7z file which must be extracted again to get the tar.md5 file.

I figured that out but I'm assuming most folks wouldn't - just trying to help!

Thanks!

Chris R.

Are you using the Odin included in the .zip?

Cool,
Thats what I meant in step 4:
4. extract SPH-D700-EG22-8Gb-REL.tar.md5.7z, rename the extracted .md5 to just .tar
