LOL!!! I had the exact same reaction! Been running it for 2 days now and its pretty solid. I did get a couple of weird reboots for no apparent reason, and my ringer stopped working at one point (rebooted and it fixed itself). Fantastic battery life!

this is exactly what i was told by samsung and now i feel i can post it since i actually see proof.

this is the update news that we all got excited about but now look at the update to the "official" update.

Update: Looks like Sprint's not so fond of this here version, and is currently recommending that users avoid it. We're sure the "last minute tweaks' the carrier has in mind will actually only take "a minute." Right.

There is no other launcher. Your options are to first install the new launcher and activate it. Then delete the launcher2.apk from the system/apps via root explorer or abd. You can also make the changes prior to flashing within the zip itself. Then reflash. This Rom doesn't delete your data so you could install right over top.

thanks worked like a charm! also, what battery icons work with this rom? I have tried to install some on stock and it wouldnt boot. I dont really want to change the icon just add percentage to it.

post#3 has battery mods with pictures that i used on this rom.

Nice rom, thanks! This is my first ROM flashed to my Epic, and it sure beats the old flash dance of Windows Mobile devices!

I'm a little surprised that the Samsung Froyo Keyboard has been removed, though...I tried an APK from the Vibrant, but it just FC's when I try to use it.

Anyone have the Froyo Samsung keyboard?

I also had some trouble getting APKs I wanted installed because My Files is missing...I was able to re-add it back on with these, but it's really hard to add in APKs with no file manager! Although, I'll admit I'm a little green...

just goto market and dl astro and your good and if you want swype apk i posted it in this thread plus i think op did, use paperclip if ya cant find it.
