Considering selling 2 "Old" Sero Accounts - but questions 1st

That makes sense. Does a new MDN automatically get assigned or do I need to ask that it be so that I am not automatically charged the ETF?

They'll just reprovision your Sprint phone with the new number, which means they ask you to press ##MSL#(provided by them) and reprogram your new (forsale Sero #) You can even ask they randomly generate a new MDN (5 times max) till you get one that you like before provisioning

I remember picky business people wanted an "easy" number, and id try like 15 times, exiting P2k (old sprint system) and coming back in for it to generate 5 more available MDNS

Impossible.. When you do a port your current service is canceled, which means ETF and no TOL... Period, no way around it.. You CANNOT port and TOL...

Never heard of what Deimoss is saying, but hey, maybe it's different with Sprint/ATT, but any other carrier I've done ports with, as soon as the port process was initiated the old line was canceled, automatically... Be VERY CAREFUL!!!

that's what I thought too but what Deimoss says makes sense - doesn'st your phone stay active until the end of your current billing cycle? Wouldn't that mean that I would have time to port and then call Sprint and get a new MDN on the sero line? Still confused...

Because I trust the advice of the knowledgeable users HERE over the directions of a random Sprint employee who may or may not know what he's talking about! hahaha. And, I am sure someone here has gone thru this before.
