I just upgraded to the Slingbox SOLO so my son can watch on his Mac and iPod. I had the Slingbox AV working perfectly with my EVO 4G. Includes all cables and quick start guide in the original box.

This is an older box that they don't guarantee will work with newer phones, but it worked great from day 1 with my EVO 4G. Occasionally, I got a message that said:
"Your Slingbox model is not supported for use with your device. However, your current configuration might stream at this time. For more information visit www.slingmedia.com/upgrade"

This message would disappear after clicking "close" and my stream would continue uninterrupted.

I'm tempted... I mean would be great to watch my at&t uverse on phone... if I understand what a slingbox does... but I don't know how it really works or setup :S lol

how many phones does it support streaming to at a single time?

if i didnt have one id be all over this. works with uverse great! they are easy to set up but if you want it on a tv that is away form the router than i recommend getting the sling link as well to make your life a hell of a lot easier.
